Home / Liner replacement

Above-ground pool liner replacement.

Torn, sagging or faded? Riley will look at it, tell you honestly whether it can be saved, and if it can't, put in a new liner, often with a new skimmer at the same time.

Signs it's time.

If any of these sound like your pool, it's worth a look.

  • Tears or leaks that keep coming backA liner that keeps losing water is losing chemicals and money too.
  • Sagging or slipping out of the trackWhen the liner pulls away from the top, it won't stay put on its own.
  • Faded, brittle or stainedOld vinyl stiffens and cracks, and the pattern washes out.
  • Wrinkles that won't smooth outFolds on the floor or walls catch dirt and get worse each season.

What to expect.

  • A look first. Riley inspects the pool so he knows exactly what the replacement will need.
  • A straight answer. If it can be fixed, he'll say so. If it can't, he'll say that too.
  • The new liner goes in. The crew lays it out and sets the bead into the track around the top of the wall.
  • Skimmer while we're there. A liner swap is the best time to replace a cracked or worn skimmer. Several customers have had both done in one visit.

Too late in the season? Keep swimming.

When Todd called about a sagging liner that couldn't be repaired, Riley secured it so his girls could enjoy the last couple of weeks of the season, inspected the pool, and booked the new liner for the start of next season.

“I appreciate him securing the liner as is so my girls can enjoy the pool the last couple weeks of this season.”

Liner questions.

Can my liner just be repaired?

It depends on the liner. Riley will look at it and tell you honestly whether it's worth fixing or time to replace. One customer put it this way: “unfortunately it cannot be repaired. Received an honest opinion and fast response.”

Do you replace the skimmer too?

Often, yes. Replacing a liner is the best time to swap a cracked or worn skimmer, and several customers have had both done in the same visit.

What does a new liner cost?

It depends on your pool's size and shape and the liner you choose. Quotes are free, and customers say Riley's prices beat the competition.

When should I book?

Spring fills up. If your liner is failing late in the season, call now. Riley can take a look and get you on the list for opening season.
